Meet the Team
Paul Parkhouse
Co-founder
Paul is the co-founder of Harlequin companies. Paul has overall responsibility for the day-to-day decisions and strategic direction of Harlequin Group. Much of his time is spent looking for new opportunities for Harlequin, such as moving into the residential and commercial sector with Harlequin.
Before founding Harlequin, Paul started his career in quantity surveying, before being a Commercial Director for two of the top 10 private developers.
John Shelbourne
Director
John has 20 years Managing Director experience at board level and 30 years development experience. He has experience in most forms of construction and procurement routes. Delivery is one of John’s key strengths, with his most recent business running at over 95% customer satisfaction.
John Louth
Director
John brings 25 years of industry experience to Homes by Harlequin. He has previously held senior management positions such as Major Projects Director at various development companies. John is business driven and excels in driving production efficiencies, implementing dynamic systems and delivering to stakeholders.
Christon Burrows
Director
Christon qualified as a Barrister-at-Law in 1996 and has spent the last 20 years in the finance industry. In 2009, he set up a credit hedge fund manager with Partners and helped raised over $3 billion dollars of assets from institutional investors. Christon now focuses his time on financing and investing in property transactions and managing his private investments.
Gareth Garner
Land Director
Having had the opportunity to work for several prestigious house builders - knowing how they work - Gareth specialise in maximising efficiency of development land whilst levelling up the rewards in terms of land value to the landowners, be they solely focused upon maximising returns, a carbon neutral development or a legacy.
Christine Wilkin
Sales Director
Christine has over 38 years of experience marketing and selling new homes in and around London and the Home Counties. Christine has held senior positions with the Berkeley Group, Crest Nicholson and Laing Homes and feels proud to part of the Homes by Harlequin Team building high quality homes in some fantastic locations.
